Play That Rock'n'Roll - Episode 3: "Top 5 Sell-Outs of the 1980's"

Original release: March 26th, 2011.

Episode 3 of "Play That Rock'n'Roll" is a video essay analyzing and critiquing the "Top 5" artists that "sold-out" in the 1980's. "Selling out" meaning "abandoning one form of music to make another form in order to simply achieve pop success".

Update (01.02.17): Given how many factual errors, bad takes, lame jokes, and editing mistakes I managed to cram into this one episode, this disaster of video was also a failed attempt to direct Play That Rock'n'Roll into more of an "editorial" sort of series. Since the show has not gone in that direction, and I've had numerous copyright issues with this one, I will not be re-uploading it. It's a terrible, boring video -- the only one to date I am not proud of, so this one will stay offline. Trust me, you're not missing anything.

Play That Rock'n'Roll - Episode 1: Steve Miller Band

Original release: January 18th, 2011.

Play That Rock'n'Roll is a show that analyzes albums and artists of the classic rock era. Episode One is a career retrospect of the Steve Miller Band, from his psychedelic rock origins, to his pop success with "Fly Like an Eagle", to "Abracadaba" and the '80s, to where he is today.

Episode 13: "Who?" : The Stars of B-Movie Roll-Out (Season Finale)

Original release: December 18th, 2010.

We closed Season One of the B-Movie Roll-Out with a look back at some of the career highlights and lowlights of the actors and producers of the movies featured in this show. If trivial knowledge of B-list actors isn't quite an interest for you, rest assured, there is plenty of funny video to be seen!

Part II:

Episode 12: "The Cutter" (2005)

Original release: October 24th, 2010.

Chuck Norris's final film. A good review to close out Season One.

Episode 11: "Robocop 3" (1993)

Original airdate: July 24th, 2010
Re-Upload Release: April 25th, 2015

Not-Peter Weller stars in "Robocop 3" where he battles Robot-Ninjas from Japan. Sounds much cooler than it is. Milton from Office Space also makes an appearance.

Episode 10: "A View to a Kill" (1985)

Taking on the very worst of 007, Roger Moore in 1985's "A View to a Kill" aka "Keystone Kops in San Francisco".

Episode 7: "SnakeEater II: The Drug Buster" (1990)

Original release: March 3rd, 2010.

Where my love of B-Movies began. Featuring the "coolest" sidekick EVAR, "Speedboat". AND a cameo by internet superstar, Pruane2forever!

Part II:

Episode 6: "SnakeEater" (1989)

Original release: February 13th, 2010.

The first of the three-part review series on the "SnakeEater" trilogy that stars Lorenzo Lamas. Or as I pronounce it, "La-MAHS". Special appearance by Kenny Rodgers.

Part II:

Episode 5: "Death Wish 4: The Crackdown" (1987)

Original release: January 22nd, 2010
Re-Upload Release: November 5th, 2016

Charles Bronson stars in the fourth episode of the Death Wish saga. Also, I discuss pop music that involves the saxophone. Because they are related.

Episode 4: "Halloween III: Season of the Witch" (1982)

Original release: December 15th, 2009

Halloween/Christmas Special 2009. John Carpenter's "Halloween III: Where's Michael Meyers?", was an attempt to switch gears for the "Halloween" series, and it didn't go well.

Part II:

Episode 2: "Warrior of the Lost World" (1983)

Original release: September 4th, 2009

The second episode of the B-Movie Roll-Out tackled 1983's "Warrior of the Lost World", a post-apocalyptic adventure starring Robert "the Paper Chase Guy" Ginty and Donald Pleasanse. And Megaweapon.

Episode 1: "Braddock: Missing in Action III" (1988)

Original release: June 24th, 2009

The very first video in the B-Movie Roll-Out series, "Braddock: Missing in Action III" stars Chuck Norris as Col. James Braddock who returns to Vietnam to rescue orphaned children, including his own son.
